KCB Bank Building at Achieng' Oneko and Oginga Odinga Roads
Description
KCB originated in 1896 as a branch of the National Bank of India in Mombasa. At the time of Kenyan independence in 1963, the government bought a controlling interest in the bank and then took over entirely in 1970, changing its name to Kenya Commercial Bank. The Kisumu location shown here was built soon after.
